Wall Drug and Minuteman Missle Silo

Well we left Rapid City around 1030 am and proceed to Mitchell, South Dakota. During the drive we stopped at the world famous Wall Drug, at Wall South Dakota. They have just about anything that a person could not find in any other store. It was opened in 1931 and still is owned by the same family. After that I stopped at a Minuteman Missile Silo. I wanted the tour but they were full. I have included a few pictures of that part of the trip. But toward the end of the trip to Mitchell, S.D. . We encountered a storm that produced tornadoes. The storm was moving to the east so I stopped so the storm could get ahead of us. Hail was as big as softballs and no smaller than golf balls. Maile was so scared she put a pillow over her face and wore sunglasses so she could not see the lighting show this storm produced. It was spectacular. Some of the pic's are funny.
